UPDATE 10.05am: A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said the driver of the grey Peugeot 206 was not injured.
A DRIVER managed to escape from an overturned car after it left the road and landed on its roof on the A4046 between Waunlwyd and Cwm, near Ebbw Vale, last night.
Fire fighters arrived at 7.11pm but the ambulance and police were already there, said a spokesman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, who could not say whether the driver had been injured.
