If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

Milton Glaser, a famous American graphic designer (designer of the I<3 NY logo). His knowledge of the industry would be very insightful.

What is your biggest fear?

Pain is my biggest fear, I am a bit of a wimp. I have always been very cautious and have avoided adventurous adrenalin junkie activities but (touch wood) I've never broken a bone.

Do you have any superstitions?

I don't, though I do believe things happen for a reason.. and that reason is usually hard work.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal

What is the most expensive thing you've bought, not including property?

Most definitely my industry leading laser cutter, an investment that will help my business grow.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?

If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

What is your indulgence?

I definitely have a sweet tooth. If sweets could be one of my five a day, I would be quite happy.

What item could you not live without?

I couldn't live without my phone, though on a (rare) day off it's nice to leave technology behind. How did we all cope before smart phones? My phone is vital to business, I need constant access to emails, my online store and social media.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Shyness is something I would change in a heartbeat. If anyone has a magical cure I'd be interested.

Where are you next going on holiday?

Does a business trip to London count?! Unfortunately there are no holidays booked for the near future. Having recently set up my business, it needs my full attention.. though I am looking forward to some sunshine.
