Tonight bidding ended on the shoe of pop star Justin Bieber, but only at only half way to the target of £500, New Inn mum Khloe Waite has been left ‘disappointed’ in her quest to raise money for the Oakdale youngster.

Since bidding began ten days ago the shoe has attracted 2,600 views on eBay and bidders have bid £255- just over half way toward raising the target £500 to help youngster Ayla-Mae Hemms have life-changing surgery in the US.

But Mrs Waite has decided to re-list the shoe along with a record from the singer, a gift bag, 'Beliebers' scarf, concert lanyard and the tickets to the event at the Birmingham NIA, where her children secured the souvenir.

The shoe was the family's way of raising the £100,000 needed for 18-month-old Ayla-Mae Hemms, who is profoundly deaf and suffers spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy need to undergo selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery to help her become more independent and have the chance to walk unaided.

With 98 people watching the shoe ahead of the closing of the auction Mrs Waite was hopeful that a last minute bidding war will raise the target amount.

“I am going to re-list it for another ten days,” she said.

"I want to keep going with it as I don't want to see it go for any less.

“I really hope that bidders will bid the target of £500 tonight to help this youngster to walk,” she said.
