THREE people were taken to hospital after an M4 bridge accident involving a lorry and a camper van.
The collision took place on the westbound section of the Second Severn Crossing collision at around 3.40pm.
Gwent Police said the accident had caused traffic disruption adding that only one lane remained open on the westbound carriageway during the evening rush hour.
The two drivers and a camper van passenger were taken to hospital.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said that one of them had been conveyed to Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
A Gwent Police spokesman said: "There were no serious injuries however all three people have been taken to hospital as a precaution. Collision has caused disruption to traffic.”
Police are appealing for information. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to ring 101, quoting log 293 04/04/14.
