A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been stabbed in the leg near Newport Retail Park in the early hours of this morning.
Gwent Police attended the scene at 1.25am outside of Tesco in Spytty where the teenager is believed to have walked to after the incident to meet his friend.
A Gwent Police spokesman said: “We received a report of a boy approximately 17-years-old who had been stabbed in the leg by an unknown person. We arrived at the scene to the male with minor injuries who was then treated at hospital.
"We have a description of the offender and are investigating lines of inquiries."
