A NUMBER of people were arrested after a fight broke out at Ebbw Vale railway station at the weekend.
Five men and two women were held on suspicion of violent disorder after the disturbance in the railway station's car park at around 6.35pm on Saturday s people got off the 5.35pm train from Cardiff.
All seven of those arrested suffered cuts and bruises but no-one needed hospital treatment.. The five men included one 24-year-old from Cwmtillery, a 28-year-old, 32-year-old and a 30-year-old from Brynmawr and a 28-year-old from Ebbw Vale and two women were one 20-year-old from Ebbw Vale and one 35-year-old from Brynmawr.
They have all been released on police bail pending further enquiries. Anyone with any information is asked to call Gwent Police on 101, quoting log number 430 12/4/14, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
