If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

Leonard Cohen, because he is a brilliant poet and singer.

What is your biggest fear?

Being asked a question I can’t find an answer to.

Do you have any superstitions?

I do throw salt over my left shoulder and I carry a lucky gem stone. I don’t know why I do it.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

You Don't Pull No Punches, but You Don't Push the River by Van Morrison. It’s just a brilliant song and it’s on the Veedon Fleece album, which is also my favourite album.

What is the most expensive thing you've bought, not including property?

It’s got to be a car. I think it must have been a Mitsubishi Shogun.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?

It’s just a little mantra: I am powerful and I am loved; I am powerful and I am loving; I am powerful and I love it.

What is your indulgence?

I don’t know if it’s an indulgence but I like walking in the mountains and ending up at a fantastic pub with friends.

What item could you not live without?

My dogs. I’ve got a cocker spaniel and an English springer spaniel.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wouldn’t work so hard.

Where are you next going on holiday?

I’m going to Orlando in America for a family reunion.
