SCENE: Police on Bryn Bevan in Shaftesbury on Monday
A NEWPORT man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Jessica Watkins.
Kristofer Mitchell, 28, of Bryn Bevan, Newport, was remanded in custody.
It is alleged he murdered the 21-year-old between May 3 and May 6, this year.
He is next due to appear before Newport Crown Court tomorrow for a preliminary hearing.
