STAFF at Magor Brewery swapped beer brewing for cleaning as they took part in a clearing exercise yesterday to celebrate World Environment Day.
Twenty members of staff from Magor Brewery, along with Jessica Morden MP for Newport East, joined the Keep Wales Tidy team to clean up and remove waste from the foreshore at Magor Pill and Caldicot.
“AB InBev UK has a significant role to play in protecting the environment and we were delighted to work alongside Keep Wales Tidy again on this event. It was a great day and really brought the team together,” said Tony Monteiro, brewery manager at AB InBev UK’s Magor Brewery.
Chris Partridge, special projects manager for Keep Wales Tidy, said: “I commend the staff for rising to the challenge and setting a great example.”
