A TEACHER has launched his fifth children’s book.
Charlie Underwood Fights Back is the new story from Paul Manship, 53, a year six teacher at Millbrook Primary in Newport – the tale of a boy who is bullied and overcomes his fears.
Set in South Wales, it is the story of Charlie’s determination to be himself and to handle what school life throws at him.
Mr Manship, of Rhiwderin, said: “I base quite a few of the characters on children I have taught. Charlie is a little boy who I taught a few years ago. I like writing about the underdog.”
