Even the kids forced by gang members to carry a knife? Five years in a YOI before they are even 13?

Jimmy, this is kids you're talking about here. How you can just call them vermin is beyond me. You have no idea what many of them go through. Don't blame them, blame our society. I personally blame people like you who don't seem to give a **** about them, just want everyone locked away, as if that will sort anything out, Perhaps these children need people to help them, to care for them and make them feel safe enough to be able to venture out without a knife. My son knew of 7 children in his year at St Julians School who carried knives to school every day. They felt the need because they were the bullied ones. If a child is bullied by a whole gang of kids and does not get the help they need, then they will feel scared enough to want to carry something for protection. No, they are not vermin, just scared kids.. Bless every one of them.

I also blame our society, whereby kids, pensioners, everyone is let down, afraid to go out in the morning thinking about how to protect ourselves its a fact of life Jimmy. If society has reduced our children to feel vulnerable and scared who do you blame then? I hope your not going to blame the parents? they have had to live this life aswell
