THREE lecturers from Coleg Gwent’s Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone raised more than £700 for charity with a skydive.
A-level lecturers Hayley Acreman, 29, Nicola Gatesman, 30, and Rachael King, 36, took the challenge to raise money for the children’s hospice of Wales, Ty Hafan.
Between them the trio raised £755.43 for the cause.
Speaking about their motivation for the jump, Hayley Acreman said: “All three of us are individuals who enjoy new exciting opportunities, and we thought ‘what would be more of an adrenaline rush than a skydive?’
“It was scary, a big challenge, and an unforgettable experience, something we have always wanted to do. Nothing else could quite compare, and to make it happen and raise money for such a good cause at the same time makes the whole experience feel even more fulfilling.”
