A THREE-year-old boy fell out of an open window in Cwmbran this afternoon.

Six police officers were called to the house at the Circle in Two Locks shortly before 3pm by ambulance staff after the tot fell from a first floor window onto a porch and then onto the ground.

He was taken to Newport's Royal Gwent Hospital but did not suffer long-term or life-threatening injuries, said a spokesman for Gwent Police.

There were no arrests as a result of the fall which was described by police as a domestic accident.

How are they "irresponsible morons"? You don't know anything about the child, for all you know he could have ADHD (think it's called that) and kids who have this are pretty hard to keep under control especially if you are alone parent, also the kid could be allot bigger for a normal size 3 year old, so was able.to get to the window easier. For those blaming the parent you should get your facts right. I know the mother & the boy in question. She was in the room with him and the latch on the window failed as he fell through the window. It was upsetting enough for the mother without people accusing her of not looking after her children. As for the number of police it depends on how many were in the area at the time. If that were my kids I would rather have 3 cars turn up than none because they all thought another car took the call!!
