A NEWPORT accessory designer has announced she will be opening a stall at a famous London market this week.

Heidi-Louise Griffiths, the founder and designer of accessories brand, ‘Lola and Me’ has announced that the brand will now be expanding from its current online store to its first stall at Spitalfields, a luxury London market situated in E1, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station and Brick Lane.

Lola and Me design and create women's printed fashion accessories with a key focus on celebrating colour and pattern.

''This opportunity has been in the pipeline for quite a few weeks, so I'm thrilled to finally confirm the news,” she said.

“It's a huge platform for us to increase our brand awareness and present the business to a wider audience of fun and fashion focused shoppers'.

''After running the online shop for quite a few months, I'm excited to have the chance to meet our customers in person.

“We've had so much support and great feedback from customers via our social media platforms, it will be brilliant to chat to them personally and say thank you.

''I want to continue developing a business that has fun with fashion that encourages colour confidence and experiments with clashing prints and palettes no matter what the season.

“There is something amazing about a good colour pop, it can put you in such a great mood"

Lola and Me first started as an Etsy shop in September 2013 and quickly developed its own online store, which launched by April 2014.

The first pop-up stall opens on Friday August 8 and will run every Friday from 11am to 4pm.

The business continues to run from its South Wales Design Studio.
