Fire crews pump rainwater out of station

FIRE fighters had to pump water out of the basement of their own fire station in Newport this morning (Wednesday).

Malpas crew used an ejector pump to remove an inch of built-up rain water at 10.17am, said a spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
