Since when was a Renault Master van a grey car? And just for the record the cat was half skinned. Not a pretty sight to see first thing in the morning.

so the Argus thinks that mentioning that a cat died was a better headline than a 3 car crash??. who thinks of these headlines.

over the past 8 weeks or so i have seen 1 dead dog and 3 dead cats, god knows how many hedgehogs, pidgins and squirrels and a few dead badgers and foxes (mostly on country lanes), i have not heard anything about these animals in the Argus.. was this particular cat famous or something??....

Ok I am upset that someone has sadly lost their pet and a few peeps that are hopefully insured have bumped their cars which is upsetting but really? Is this big time news? And if it is, cud we atleast have all the info as in was it the cat that caused It or bad driving? Im assuming it was the cats fault but what is the point of news if u don't have ALL the news and also does the owner know of the cats misfortune??? Also no injuries, juse damaged cars??? Ummm I'm sure that cay had a few injuries. Tutu tut Argus. The only good thing I'm taking from this is that if this is all the news you could find then newport o's a better place today with no murders, cannabis factories or major issues???

The police didn't even place anything over the cat, it was quite distressing to see. When I drove passed they were just watching the traffic build up.

The cat was dead on the road much earlier than stated in fact about 6.15am. I know this because I saw it on the road when I drove my wife to work. When I drove to work along the same stretch at 8.45am there was a vehicle askew on the south bound Malpas road with a Police car behind it with "blues" on and plenty of water on the road where they had cleaned up the corpse of the cat.
