GWENT Police is looking for Stephen Peter Lima who failed to return to HMP Prescoed on Thursday (AUG 21) having been on day release.

Lima, 24, was convicted of supplying class A drugs at Cardiff Crown Court in March 2011 and sentenced to nine years in prison.

He is of mixed race, 5ft10" tall, of medium build and with black hair and brown eyes.

It is believed there may be a potential risk to the public due to the fact that he is no longer in the custody of the prison service.

If anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts they are advised not to approach him but to call police on 01633 838111 quoting log 401 21/08/14.

Yet another one who has done a runner. 9 years in prison should mean just that, 9 YEARS!! What is this day release all about? Are they getting days off for good conduct or what?

Try the beer garden at the bridge pub llanfoist .They are drinking there every day .whilst supposedly working at the council run recycling center in union road .Another point is these prisoners are in peoples homes etc on a daily basis picking up furniture or delivering it .And these home owners are none the wiser that burglars ,sex offenders etc are in their home ,shame on monmouthshire county council
