A JAZZ festival was held over the weekend around Abergavenny.
The Wall2Wall Jazz Festival hosted 24 concerts at three venues – the town’s castle, the Swan Hotel and the Kings Arms.
Four others were held at the town’s Borough Theatre.
The Three Belles, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the 606 Gospel Choir and Jacqui Dankworth played at the theatre over the weekend.
A Youth in Jazz programme was also held at the Melville Theatre while 14 acts also took to playing on Abergavenny’s streets. The acts on show included the Arun Ghosh Quintet, who played at the Abergavenny Castle and the Moscow Drug Club.
The festival director Mike Skilton said: “It has gone well. We have had some cracking acts here.”
He said planning for the next festival will start in about a month.
