Fire crews are still damping down fire debris and waiting for fire investigators to arrive.
The single-storey building has been totally destroyed by fire. There were concerns about a fuel tank inside the building.
Fire crews from Caldicot, Maindee, Malpas, Chepstow, Duffryn and Cwmbran were at the scene.
At 1.49am the incident commander reported the fire was under control.
UPDATE: 8.27am
FIREFIGHTERS are still in attendance to a fire in Llanvaches, Caldicot.
Crews attended the scene at an industrial shed at Penylan House near the Old Turnpike Road at 11.54pm last night. Crews from Caldicot, Maindee, Cwmbran, Aberbargoed, Malpas, Chepstow and Duffryn were in attendance and two appliances remain at the scene this morning.
The industrial shed is said to have contained vehicles.
