POLICE are investigating an allegation of assault on the pitch at Risca rugby club on October 11.
The man, aged 18, of Risca, was allegedly punched and received facial injuries that required hospital treatment. The man has since been discharged.
The alleged incident was reported to the police at 10am on October 12 and no arrests have been made.
