PREPARE to be spooked at Greenmeadow Farm this half term as kids take part in spectacular Hallowe’en activities.

Greenmeadow Farm in Cwmbran have embraced the Hallowe’en spirit again this year as they host a range of spooky activities for children of all ages to enjoy, including pumpkin carving and murder mysteries alongside their usual programme.

Running until Sunday families have the chance to take part in pumpkin carving for £2.50 per pumpkin which will see children carve scary faces to create traditional jack-o'-lantern to take home.

A spokeswoman for the farm said pumpkin carving had been a big success this year, with hundreds of children taking part.

From 10 to 3.30pm the farm will also offer extra activities such as a cuddle corner and have characters such as Sally Mally and Super Ted on site for children to get their photo taken with at no extra cost.

Older children aged five upwards will also be treated to a spooky evening on Hallowe’en night itself from 6pm to 9pm which will see them take part in solving a murder mystery; take a haunted tractor ride through the woods and have a go on fairground rides.

Families are encouraged to dress up when they visit the farm to really get into the Hallowe’en spirit.

Tickets for the scary evening cost £5.50 per person in advance and £6.50 per head on the night.
