EBBW Vale food artist Nathan Wyburn has paid tribute to Loose Women star Lynda Bellingham with an Oxo Cube portrait.

The 24-year-old artist, famous for his food portraits using the likes of pizza, cat food and marmite, created his tribute to the TV personality following her death on October 19, aged 66.

Mr Wyburn said he thought the portrait would be a “brilliant tribute” to her.

“I thought about doing something as soon as I heard she had passed away, as I thought it would be a brilliant tribute to her,” he said.

“It worked really well and I am really pleased with it.”

My Wyburn spent two hours on the portrait made from 20 OXO cubes on Saturday, which he made into gravy, a fitting tribute for the star of the “Oxo Family” TV adverts.

Lynda Bellingham, OBE was a Canadian-born English actress, broadcaster and author, who starred in the long-running series of "Oxo Family" British TV adverts between 1983 and 1999.

“I thought about doing it with just crushed cubes but it worked better with gravy,” Mr Wyburn added.

“She was quite a fun and laid-back lady so she would have liked the humour of it.

“The repose on social media [for the portrait] has been absolutely brilliant- her son got in touch with me on Twitter to tell me he thought it was amazing,” he said.

The artist said he wasn’t sure whether the cast of Loose Women have seen the portrait yet but said it attracted 2.6k likes on social media in just two days.

Now My Wyburn is getting ready for the release of his book next year which will feature an ‘eclectic mix’ of the artist’s work.
