DESTRUCTION: A Komatsu excavator was damaged at Waun Y Pound Industrial Estate.
GWENT Police is investigating an incident of criminal damage and a theft at an industrial estate in Ebbw Vale.
The incident happened at the Civic Community Site in Waun Y Pound Industrial Estate at about 4.30am on Saturday, December 6.
An excavator, Komatsu PC210 360 model, was damaged and a diesel pump attached to it was stolen.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 222 06/12/14, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
