THREE people were injured, and a casualty was thrown from a vehicle, after an accident in Newport early this morning.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Malpas and Maindee attended Brynglas Road at 6.45am.
SWFRS said one person was thrown from a vehicle and another had to be cut out of a car.
A spokeswoman said crews spent 45 minutes at the scene and that the three people were taken to hospital but their condition is not known.
