POLICE are re-appealing for information after a woman pushing her child in a buggy was approached by a man in a car.
Police have released an e-fit image of the man following the incident which happened last Thursday afternoon, 8th January, on Star Road, Penperlleni, between Pontypool and Abergaven,.
The 36-year-old woman was walking along the road at around 12.55pm pushing her child in a buggy when she was approached by a small blue vehicle near to the Chainbridge Pub.
The man driving the vehicle asked her to get in. When she refused he became verbally aggressive and drove off. The woman and child were unharmed.
The man was described as being Asian, around 35 years old, of small to medium build. He had dark coloured eyes and eyebrows and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black zipped up jacket and a beanie hat.
The car was a navy blue, 5 door hatchback. Just after the incident three vehicles are reported to have come from the direction the man drove off in. Officers are appealing for these people to come forward. One of the vehicles was white with a female driver and another was a JCB with a male driver.
