A ONE-EYED cat has been found apparently dumped on the side of a Newport road, the RSPCA have said.

Information is being sought after a member of the public reported to the RSPCA that they saw someone driving a grey car dumping the cat at Lawrence Hill Avenue on Sunday, February 22.

The one-eyed black cat had no obvious injuries and had no collar or chip.

RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “There was no CCTV where the cat was found so we are appealing for any information to help us find out what happened.

“We are also trying to find an owner.”
