NEWPORT pupils starred alongside Welsh celebrities in telling what their favourite books are today for World Book Day.
To celebrate this years’ World Book Day and to encourage parents in Newport to make time to read with their children, the Welsh Government’s ‘Education Begins at Home’ campaign asked children from Millbrook Primary School in Bettws to join Welsh celebrities from across Wales to tell us what their favourite children’s book is and why.
Some of the usual children’s classics were mentioned, but there were a few surprising entries as well...
