AN underground cable fault left thousands of properties in Newport without power this evening.
A total of 2,139 properties were left without power, including Argus Towers and Tesco on Cardiff Road.

A spokesman for Western Power said they received their first call about the incident at around 6.30pm and that 195 properties were still without power.
