Fire crews at Risca crash
FIREFIGHTERS are at the scene of a crash on the A467 southbound carriageway near Risca.
The accident, near the Risca roundabout, involved a lorry and a car. A woman driving the car has been taken to hospital with leg and neck injuries but her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road has been closed since the crash was reported at 2.14pm and diversions are in place. A Gwent Police spokesman said they urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.
