YOU could be in with the chance of winning a luxurious break by entering our 125 Appeal photography competition.

The photographic competition, which is open to all and has the theme of heritage, is being supported by the Celtic Manor hotel and sponsored by Pontypool-based Johnsey Estates UK Ltd, owners of Pontypool’s Mamhilad Park Estate.

The five star resort is providing a prize of dinner, bed and breakfast for two for the winner of the 17 and above category and a family activity day for four for the winner of the 16 and under group.

In addition to this, winners and some of the outstanding entries will be displayed on walls at JEUK’s refurbished offices at Mamhilad Park Estate, Pontypool and also at St David’s Hospice Care’s new 15 bed in-patient facility being completed in Malpas, Newport.

The hospice is the UK’s largest provider of hospice at home care and cares for more than 3,200 patients and families every year, at a cost of more than £7.5 million. Money raised from the competition will help support this vital work.

The fee to enter five photos for adults is £10. Entries by people aged 16 years or younger is £5. The closing date for the competition is 12am on Tuesday, May 30. Photographs can be of anything associated with the theme of heritage.
