TELEVISION presenters Ben Shephard and Zoe Hardman are the latest showbiz stars to sign up for the Celebrity Cup golf tournament at Celtic Manor this summer.
Shephard and Hardman will swap the microphone for mid-irons as they tee up with Mike Tindall, Vernon Kay and Peter Jones for Team England in the event from July 4-5.
They join a cast list which includes fellow TV stars Rob Brydon, Gethin Jones and Philip Glenister representing Wales, Irish singers sensations Keith Duffy, Ronan Keating and Brian McFadden and Scottish footballing royalty Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen and Gordon Strachan.
Celtic Manor chief executive Ian Edwards said: “We are delighted to see that so many stars from the world of showbiz and sport have already signed up for the 2015 Celebrity Cup.
“The Celebrity Cup has been a resounding success since we launched the event in 2013 and we have seen a real appetite from the public for watching celebrities competing outside of their usual comfort zones on the golf course. This summer’s event is shaping up to be the best yet.”
