Firefighters tackle several grass fires around Ebbw Vale
FIREFIGHTERS tackled several deliberate grass fires in the Ebbw Vale area last night.
There was a grass fire in Sirhowy woods which Ebbw Vale fire crew attended at 6.42pm. They used beaters and left the scene at 7.19 pm.
They also tackled a grass fire at the rear of Harford Gardens in Sirhowy. They attended at 6.18pm and left the scene at 6.39 pm.
Ebbw Vale crew also attended a grass fire in Waun-lwyd above the A4046 at 12.44 am this morning. They left the scene at 1.19am.
