FIRE crews dealt with three deliberate fires in the Ebbw Vale area last night.
Felled trees on part of the Rassau industrial estate, Ebbw Vale, were deliberately set alight at around 10.30pm.
A rubbish fire was reported and dealt with at Hilltop, Ebbw Vale, at 1.09am.
And at 5.17am today, youths were spotted at the scene of a deliberate refuse fire at Tyr Meddwg, Ebbw Vale. Firefighters from the Ebbw Vale station attended the latter, using beaters.
An area of grass was also deliberately set on fire near the railway at Warm Turn, Aberbeeg, at 5.28pm yesterday. Firefighters from Abertillery attended and used beaters to deal with the blaze.
In a separate incident grassland was deliberately set on fire near the gas works in Abertillery at 9.14pm last night.
