BRITAIN’s successful folk group Bellowhead will perform at Chepstow Castle this summer in what is scheduled to be one of their last concerts.

The five-time winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards best live act will visit Chepstow Castle to bid farewell to their Welsh fans.

A statement posted on their website said after 11 years the band has decided to call it a day after lead singer Jon Boden decided to stand down.

“We are all looking forward to the remaining gigs and intend to make them our best shows yet, so we hope you can come along for the party.”

The concert takes place at 6.30pm on August 27. Tickets are £25 in advance from castellroc.co.uk
