Labour leader candidate to meet Gwent party members
LABOUR leader candidate Liz Kendall will meet Labour party members from across Gwent today.
The visit comes as all the Labour leadership candidates gathered in Cardiff for an official hustings event at 11am today.
Ms Kendall will then meet members from Newport East, Newport West, Islwyn and Monmouth at 2.45pm at Newport YMCA, hosted by Jessica Morden MP.
She will then be joining members from Blaenau Gwent, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney, Islwyn, Brecon and Radnorshire and Caerphilly at 4.30pm for a picnic at Bedwellty Park, Tredegar, hosted by Nick Smith MP.
