A WOMAN was released from her car after a road traffic collision in Bassaleg on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire service crews from Duffryn and Malpas attended the scene on Grosvenor Road at 1.24pm.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
The woman was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital by ambulance.
