SIX people were treated for smoke inhalation after a tumble drier caught fire at a house in Newport last night.
Medics checked the two adults and four children at the property in Aberthaw Drive, Alway, after 11.20pm.
They did not need hospital treatement and the fire was out when firefighters arrived at the scene, a South Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said this morning.
