A SECOND man has been arrested after the theft of £20,000 worth of biscuits from the Burton's factory in Cwmbran.
A 27-year-old man from the Cheshire area has been arrested on suspicion of theft and conspiracy to steal. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 35-year-old man from the Liverpool area is also on police bail having been arrested on suspicion of theft.
The incident happened on 17th June when a trailer carrying around £20,000 worth of biscuits from Burton's Foods on Ty Coch Way in Cwmbran was stolen.
The empty trailer was found in the Warrington area later the same day, and since then further vehicles involved in the theft have been located and seized by police.
