CAERLEON residents were given the chance to meet with local police officers to discuss anti-social behaviour concerns last week.
Representatives from partner agencies including South Wales Fire and Rescue, Waste Savers, Newport City Council and Newport City Homes also attended the action day at the mobile police station in Hadrian Close on Friday, August 28.
Police cadets were there to speak to residents and local councillors Suller, Giles and Huntley also went along.
All agencies aimed to provide advice and support to the local community in relation to anti-social behaviour issues.
A spokesman from Gwent Police said: “Any concerns that were raised by the community will be looked into and agencies will work together to resolve issues. If you didn't manage to get to the Action Day to speak to officers, you can report anti-social behaviour by calling 101 or in an emergency dial 999.”
Inspector Kevin Warren is also holding a surgery at Caerleon Campus on Thursday, September 3, between 6pm - 8pm and will be available to discuss any community concerns there.
