THE leader of the Welsh Conservatives has said the UK must be willing to take its share of refugees.
Andrew RT Davies said: “Today’s front pages force us to confront the painful truth of what has now become the worst refugee crisis in Europe since the Second World War. These are images no-one should have to see – not least the family of the poor little boy in the arms of a border police officer on the Turkish resort of Bodrum.
“You know without looking at it which picture I’m referring to – some things cannot be unseen.”
He added: “The imagery forces us to confront difficult decisions. When parents are willing to risk their families lives for the chance to get to safety, it’s time to act.”
