WHILE I fully understand the council’s need to meet landfill targets and thus the new slim bins will be replacing existing black bins, I am concerned by the lack of information being provided to the public.
Having spoken to more than 100 residents, it seems that very little is known among the general public as to why the bin change is happening. Why have Labour not been forthcoming with the information the public needs to understand the new slim bin implementation?
Surely this is another example of Welsh Labour not helping the public with something that will be affecting their everyday lives.
I am fully behind recycling and feel that most people in Torfaen would be – provided they were given the information and reasons behind why it is so important.
