POLICE are investigating the death of a one-month old baby girl in Caerphilly.
Gwent Police is currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of the baby in Senghenydd, Caerphilly.
Officers were called to an address on Commercial Street on Friday morning.
The girl was taken to Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales where she was pronounced dead.
A police spokeswoman said: "Officers are currently undertaking further enquiries to establish circumstances surrounding the death. It is currently being treated as unexplained."
