AUSTRALIA could be without influential full-back Israel Folau for Saturday’s Pool A decider against Wales at Twickenham.

The 26-year-old was forced off in the closing stages of the Wallabies superb 33-13 win against England by an ankle problem.

Wing Rob Horne has also not trained because of a shoulder injury and is a major doubt to face Wales while flanker Michael Hooper faces a disciplinary hearing after an alleged dangerous ruck clear-out.

Coach Stephen Larkham said: "Rob's most likely not going to play and the other injury concern we've got is Issy (Folau), he came off the field with a sore ankle and didn't train on Monday so we'll see how he pulls up.”

The winner of Saturday’s match will avoid New Zealand’s half of the draw and is likely to face Scotland rather than South Africa in the quarter-finals.
