NEW BOOK: Usk author Julie McGowan
AN USK author has seen her fourth book published, a collection of short stories.
Julie McGowan will spend the next few months promoting Close to You.
Her third novel, Just One More Summer, will also be published in German on November 15.
Mrs McGowan said of her activities recently: “I do quite a lot of talks about writing and at any group that will have me and I have been at other literary festivals.”
She will be running a short story writing workshop at the Penarth Book Festival next Tuesday from 10am.
And she will also be at book signings around Gwent from next month.
She will be signing books at Cwmbran’s WH Smith on November 7, Waterstones in Abergavenny on November 28 and at WH Smith in Chepstow on December 5.
