AIR AMBULANCE: The Wales Air Ambulance was called in following the accident on the A4042 between the Hardwick roundabout and Llanellen
A MAN who died after being hit by a car on the A4042 at Llanellen Bridge has been named as Gavin Horne.
Mr Horne, who was aged 37, was from the Caerphilly area.
He was involved in the fatal road traffic collision at around 11.50am on Monday, October 12.
The Wales Air Ambulance was called in following the accident on the A4042in Abergavenny, between the Hardwick roundabout and Llanellen.
An ambulance was also sent to the scene after the call was made at 11.46am.
The A4042 was closed in both directions for a short period of time.
