At the Cadoxton (Barry) WI meeting on Monday, November 16, the members enjoyed a talk about the Coastal Watch.
Terry Ewington gave a fascinating insight into the work carried out by the volunteers who are stationed at Barry Island.
His presentation included the sites of the many and varied buildings which are used throughout Britain. Open days are held annually and visitors are welcome.
Preparations for the Coffee Morning on December 1, at the Civic Offices in aid of Holme Towers were discussed and members were generous with their contributions and offer of assistance.
The raffles were won by Brenda and Sue. Meetings are held every third Monday of the month at Victoria Park Community Centre at 7pm. For more details please contact 01446 404891.
