ROTARY Club of Barry president Paul Halstead recently presented a cheque on behalf of the club to Gay Fifield, the volunteer who organises Friends and Neighbours on behalf of Age Connects in the Vale.
The money will be used to give Friends and Neighbours a Christmas Party.
In December, the club will be supporting the Dickensian Fair in Dinas Powys as well as joining with the Inner Wheel Club of Barry to put on a Christmas evening in a residential home in Barry.
The club continues to support the Vale Foodbank each month and is grateful to the public for their continued support.
