AN ARMED robber made off with about £100 when he demanded money from a Newport convenience store yesterday.
The white man, said to be about 20, wore a grey and black North Face jacket and entered the Premier Store on Corporation Road sometime between 1.45pm and 2.05pm.
He entered the shop and threatened the cashier with a knife, who was unharmed.
Gwent Police would like to speak to anyone who has information or recognises the man. Call 101 and quote log number 243 29/11/15.
