THE Environment Agency has this evening warned flooding is expected in Chepstow.
A red flood warning came into force at just before 6pm this evening, Sunday, February 7. The warning is for the Wye estuary at Elmdale in Chepstow.
The red waning means flooding is expected and immediate action is required.
Elsewhere in Gwent, orange flood alerts have been put in place for the River Usk near Llancayo and also for the rivers Wye and Monnow near New Castle.
