The woman who died in a crash on the B4293 near Llanishen has been named as Karen Lewis
A woman who died in a crash in Monmouthshire on Saturday night has been named.
Gwent Police said 50 year-old Karen Lewis, who is from the Chepstow area, died at the scene of the crash which happened at 11.45pm on the B4293 near Llanishen.
The crash involved a black Kia Carens.
A 46 year-old man from the Monmouthshire area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. He is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are appealing for information following the crash that took place on March 19.
